Gianni Infantino cumplirá un segundo mandato como presidente de la FIFA después de haber sido reelegido sin oposición para dirigir el organismo rector del fútbol mundial durante otros cuatro años, durante el 73º Congreso de la FIFA en Kigali, Ruanda. Hablando inmediatamente después de la reelección para servir de 2023 a 2027, el presidente Infantino dijo: “Ser presidente de la FIFA es un honor increíble, un privilegio increíble y también es una gran responsabilidad. Me siento verdaderamente honrado y conmovido por su apoyo, y les prometo que continuaré sirviendo a la FIFA, sirviendo al fútbol en todo el mundo y sirviendo a las 211 asociaciones miembro de la FIFA”. Gianni Infantino will serve a second term as FIFA President after being re-elected unopposed to lead global football’s governing body for another four years, during the 73rd FIFA Congress in Kigali, Rwanda. Speaking immediately after the re-election to serve from 2023 to 2027, President Infantino said:   “Being FIFA President is an incredible honour, an incredible privilege, and it is also a great responsibility. I am truly humbled and touched by your support, and I promise you that I will continue serving FIFA, serving football all over the world and serving all 211 FIFA member associations.” (Text: FIFA press)
